In an effort to join the battle against childhood cancer, the Perry family will be hosting an Alex’s Lemonade Stand at the event.  Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) mission is to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures and to encourage and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer. ALSF shares the vision of their founder and creator, Alexandra “Alex” Scott – a cure for all children with cancer. Alex passed away in 2004 at the age of eight. Alex’s parents continued the work Alex began with the creation of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Come on out and enjoy a great race and a refreshing glass of lemonade so that together we can help find a cure for childhood cancer. All items at the Lemonade Stand are for donation only with all proceeds going to ALSF. You can get more info here
